Obituary for Patricia Ann Carmen (Weber)
Patricia Ann Carmen, age 56, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 19, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Somers Point, to William and Theresa Weber (Mulready) and was one of six children. She graduated from Glassboro College with a degree in Elementary Education and also gained a Master’s degree from Mary Grove College. She had a passion for teaching children to read and taught preschool through 4th grade during her teaching career.
She married David Carmen on October 8, 1983. Together, they had two daughters, Jillian and Lindsey. She loved to spend time reading, country line dancing, camping with her family and playing with her grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her brother, Robert Weber. Patty is survived by her mother Terry and Father Bill, her husband of 32 years, Dave, her daughters Jillian (Michael) and Lindsey, grandchildren Maya, Reid, Brock and Mayzie, her siblings Bill (Lisa), Judy (Bob), Dan and Andy, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will greet friends from 6pm to 8 pm on Monday, November 23 at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield and again on Tuesday, November 24, from 10am to 11am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 724 Maple Avenue, Linwood.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am on Tuesday, November 24 at the church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope Community Cancer Center, 210 Shore Road, Marmora, NJ 08223.
