Condolence From: Liz
Condolence: Mr. & Mrs. Corona,
We don't know each other but I heard about the death of your son on NJ 101.5 because you courageously shared the cause of your son's death in his obituary. I have a son who is currently in recovery and I can't tell you how many overdose deaths we have had in our small town, and no one would put it out there in the open like you have. Drugs are a serious problem for young people (especially) today and perhaps if more people were willing to share their heartbreak over the loss of our children to this horrible disease, more could be done to stop this.

I am so sorry your son didn't survive. I can't imagine the pain and sorrow you are experiencing. Hopefully, bringing the issue out into the open will prevent someone else's death.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Liz

Condolence: How sad it is to hear of the death of a loved one! Especially of one so young. I am sorry for your loss... I wanted to share some words that comforted me in my time of grief. The words from Revelation 21:3, 4 that guarantee the day that death will be no more. God promises to bring those who have died, back to life on a paradise earth. How anxious we are to see these promises fulfilled!

Condolence: Dear Mr. & Mrs. Corona,
I am so sorry I could not attend Jared's funeral today with my husband Coach Tetley. My hear breaks for Jared. How hard it is to lose a child. I just need to let you know how much I loved Jared as I did all Mainland football players. He was a standout in my mind. He will remain in my heart now and forever. I truly hope Jared is now at peace. Please accept my deepest sympathy. I know he will always be in your hearts and minds. With much love, please know we are here if you need Coach and me.

Condolence: Though I didn't know JARED or his family...I wanted to send my condolences and prayers to everyone that did. What a brave, unselfish, and - I imagine - VERY difficult obituary to write, in honor of your loved one. I am in awe of your candor and your touchingly caring and thoughtful words. I am hoping and praying that in sharing such a deeply personal 'story'---other lives are touched and affected, and the heartache/tragedy you are all now left to deal with, is somehow averted in another family's lives. MAY YOU FIND PEACE/COMFORT IN KNOWING THAT YOUR IMPORTANT MESSAGE GOES FORWARD...

Condolence: The wave of sadness that hit me when I read Jared's obituary was overwhelming. I was Jared's baby sitter when he was about 3-4 years old (along with Josh and Jordan aka "Squirmy".)Needless to say I had my hands full!! My memories are fond, and although he grew up and didn't need me to look after him anymore, I followed his illustrious athletic career in the paper and through word of mouth in Northfield,I was always so happy to hear how well he was doing... My heart breaks for Tom and Mary; as their children are their life. Not only is Jared a loss to his family, but to our community. Quite simply, a light went out when Jared passed. GOD Bless Jared and the Corona family.

Condolence: to the Corona family - when Anjali told me of Jared's passing - I instantly saw that smiling happy face of the 4 year old that attended Little Footsteps with my daughter. He was always a gracious guy all the way to to when I last saw him as a grown up. Michael and I have moved to Nashville, but I want you to feel my arms around you at this sad time. As a mom, I am overwhelmed with sadness, but memories our are gifts from God.

Condolence: My heart goes out to you. I lost my son to addiction in February of this year. I know your pain and feel your loss so deeply. Know that Jared is now at peace and free of the evil drug that imprisoned him.
