Obituary for Evelyn Spitz Myers

Myers, Evelyn Spitz, 94 of Winter Springs, Florida, Formerly of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Florida Hospital North Altamonte Springs. Evelyn was born February 11, 1921 in Somers Point, New Jersey.

She is predeceased by her husband Harry C. Myers, parents Christian Spitz and Petronella Spitz Woodburn and brother J. George Spitz.

She was a loving Mother to her daughters, Virginia (Kenneth) Ravell of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, Marion (David) Baker of Winter Springs, Florida, Ruth (Neil-deceased) Jones of Winter Haven, Florida and Rebecca (John) Spitz of Corbin City, New Jersey; sister Virginia Briney of Royersford, Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Evelyn retired from the New Jersey Bell Telephone Company after 23 years of employment, was past Matron of the Chas. H. Mann Chapter #189 and past Grand Officer of the Grand Chapter of OES of New Jersey.

A visitation will be held at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield, NJ on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a service at 11:00 am.

Interment will be in Laurel Memorial Park Pomona, New Jersey.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to charity of your choice.
