Salotti, Marie 88 of Egg Harbor Township passed away peacefully in her home on August 15th surrounded by her loving family. Marie was born in Egg Harbor Township on October 23, 1926, and was a lifelong resident. As a young woman, Marie worked in a sewing factory in Atlantic City during the War. Later she drove a school bus for St. Joseph's School in Somers Point, NJ. Early hobbies were shared with the love of her life, Peter, including riding motorcycles and good times at the OK Corral Horse Club. Later in life, she spent much of her time square dancing with her husband and camping trips with the family. In retirement, she enjoyed their motor home travels together, spending winters in Florida, bingo with the girls, and being with the family. Marie is now in heaven with Pete dancing the Anniversary Waltz on what would have been their 70th anniversary.
She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Salotti, her parents; Roy Branca and Gennie (Gonzolva) Branca, three sisters; Antonette Totoro, Jennie Basile, Rose Biscieglia, four brothers; Salvatore Branca, Rocci Branca, Carmen Branca, and Roy Branca.
Marie is survived by her sons; Peter Salotti (Liz) and Ron Salotti (Debbie), four grandchildren; Peter C. Salotti III (Andrea), Betsy Zompa (Guy), Kristin Salotti, and Stacy Salotti, three great grandchildren; Colin, Linzie, and Zoey.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 10am til 11am at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home 1650 New Road Northfield. A service will be held at 11am. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.
