Obituary for Mariah M Rodriguez

Mariah M Rodriguez
Rodriguez Quinones, Mariah Minerva of Egg Harbor Township, walked into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 3rd at the tender age of 17.

Mariah attended Egg Harbor Township High School and was in her junior year. She was a dedicated student and an accomplished musician. She was a member of the National Honor Society and was a Varsity Scholar. Mariah was recently awarded the opportunity to study abroad and was planning to travel to Spain this summer. Mariah’s love for music was easily recognized by many. She was an accomplished pianist, she played the viola in the school’s orchestra, and the electric bass in the school’s marching band. Mariah was an active leader in the Stand Up and Rebel organization. This is a volunteer organization made up of students who encourage other students to remain drug and alcohol free.

Mariah is survived by her loving parents, Anthony and Maria Rodriguez; and her loving sister, Sophia of Egg Harbor Township. She also leaves behind her maternal grandparents, Justiniano Quinones and Ramona Urena of Domincan Republic; and her paternal grandmother, Minerva Peralta of Dominican Republic. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Fabio Rodriguez of Dominican Republic.

Mariah will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. She was the kind of young woman that anyone would be proud to call daughter, granddaughter, and friend.

Her viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 between the hours of 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Church of Saint Katharine Drexel, 6075 W. Jersey Avenue, Egg Harbor Township. A service will be held at 3:00pm. Burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mariah's Angels, c/o www.gofundme.com/w885pk
