Condolence From: Kathy Gaskill
Condolence: My condolences, Dan. While reading his obituary, it was evident that your family was very blessed to have him in your lives as well as so many other people, generations, where he worked and lived. Although your family and friends will be there to help each other fill his absence in this earthly life, his eternal spirit will always be a comfort to you in your hearts and souls. Peace.

Condolence: Your dad had a great influence on my life. First as my high school coach he taught me not only how to be a good runner, but also a good teammate and captain. His style of coaching was one that I tried to copy as much as I could and still be me. Later I was honored to coach alongside of him for several years. (I for one loved his corny jokes.) Finally, he showed me how to love family, country, and God. I owe an awful to a truly "gentle man."

Condolence From: Jim and Bobbi Carbone
Condolence: I had the good fortune to meet Mr. and Mrs.. Smith back in the 80''s when I met Brendan at Rider College. It's no surprise that the Smith family like their Mom and Dad are all warm, friendly, kind souls and treat everyone they meet like family. Many of the Smith children are incredible athletes because of Mr. Smiths coaching, love and commitment to his family. Mr. And Mrs Smith made everyone they met feel like family. You will be greatly missed, but the goodness and special person you were will live on in all your children. May God continue to bless your family Now and forever.
