Obituary for Patrick Joseph Martin III

Patrick Joseph  Martin III
Martin, Patrick Joseph III, 60 of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, passed away suddenly on December 12, 2014. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Drexel Hill, PA., he graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School and Marist College. Patrick worked as a Captain in security at Sands Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City for 30 years. He also was a head chef at the Repici owned Chatterbox in Ocean City. Patrick was a lifelong Eagles fan and season ticket holder. He was an amazing storyteller and practical joker. Whether you knew Patrick as a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, friend or just plain Goo Man, everyone knew Patrick loved his family and lived his life to the fullest.

He was predeceased by his parents, Dr. Patrick Joseph Martin, Jr., and Kathleen Martin; and sister, Alice Jennings.

Patrick is survived by his wife of 19 years, Linda; daughter Holly; brothers William Martin (Julia), Kieran Martin (Nancy); sisters Elizabeth Chesnes (Michael), Kathleen Martin, and Mary Martin; a host of nieces and nephews; and his dog, Vladimir.

Visitation will be from 6 pm to 8 pm, on Friday, December 19, 2014, at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Rd, Northfield, NJ, and from 10 am to 12 pm, on Saturday, December 20, 2014, at St. Joseph Church, 606 Shore Rd, Somers Point, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12pm. Burial will be private.
