Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Michael Etzel can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Mike, my battle buddy....there are people you grow up with your entire life, and others you meet later on in life, and sometimes those people you meet later turn out to be the very best of friends and mean more than those you've spent your whole life knowing. You were one of those friends. Meeting in basic training will always be a very special memory and the bond we created is one that cannot ever be broken, even in death. I am so honored that our paths crossed when they did and that we have maintained a friendship for 13 years. even though we went our separate ways after our military days, our friendship remained.
