Obituary for John "Jay" Cronin

John "Jay" Cronin
John Cronin “Jay” 30 passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 22, 2014.

He was born in Atlantic City and raised in Ventnor, NJ. He also lived in Galloway, Egg Harbor Township, and recently moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida with the love of his life, Jess.

Jay worked in the casino industry for several years, most known for his position at the Revel as a bartender at Royal Jelly. He was recently hired at the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

His passions were weightlifting, snowboarding, surfing, and most of all he lived for the Dallas Cowboys! His smile, laugh, and personality and our special bond will be with me for the rest of my life. I will never forget the great times we had on our trips together, especially to Colorado to ski and snowboard. The hole left in my heart will never be filled. He wasn’t just my son, he was my “Best Friend”.

He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, John and Teresa Cronin and his maternal grandfather, Bernhardt Widecrantz.

Jay is survived by his loving parents; John Cronin Jr. (girlfriend Kathy), and Tammy Brennan (husband Joseph); sister and brother, Megan and Jo-Jo, grandmother, Anita Widecrantz, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends; and the love of his life, Jessica, Jess, Tillman.
