William H. Mathis Jr., 71, of Ocean City, NJ was born in Somers Point, NJ on October 7th, 1951 and passed away on April 22nd, 2023. After Graduating from Mainland Regional High School in 1970 he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. For many years his interests were hunting and fishing. Before retiring he worked for many years at Super Fresh Grocery Store in Ocean City, NJ. He is predeceased by his father, William H. Mathis Sr. and his mother, Charlotte (Myers) Trofa of EHT. He is survived by his brother, Nicholas Trofa of EHT, and sister, Judith (Mathis) Somers of Margate, NJ. He is also survived and loved by his cousins and nephews; Cheryl Somers, Stephanie Somers, Brandon Somers, and Tyler Meighan. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
