Obituary for Virginia Louise Geary

Virginia Louise Kroger-Geary (Heuer)

Jeanne was born in Atlantic City October 27, 1936 and passed away peacefully May 7th surrounded by loved ones. Virginia was a loving mother of seven children, grandmother to thirteen, and great grandmother to ten. She graduated Atlantic City High School in 1955. Gardening was a joy of hers, she had a green thumb and could save any dying plant. Alongside her late husband Ed she had a love of antiques, including vintage glassware and was an avid collector of toothpick holders. She was a member of the National Toothpick Holder Collectors Society. She visited antique shops while traveling all over especially in Florida. She enjoyed taking trips to North Carolina to visit with family. Researching family history also brought her great joy. One of her favorite games was Rummikub, also adored Bingo. Whenever she would meet someone new she would use her vast knowledge of astrology to share interesting facts about what the stars had in store for them. Anytime a NASCAR race would come on, no matter what was going on the kids phone would always ring to make sure they had it on, and was cheering on her favorite driver, Dale Jr. When baseball season came around she could be found glued to the Phillies game sometimes, even yelling at the screen. Some of her favorite players were Tug McGraw, Mike Schmidt, Roy Halladay and Chase Utley. General Hospital was also a staple on her television.

Jeanne is survived by six boys, son Donald, wife Ellen Riddle, children son, Joshua, his children, Savannah and Rylie, daughter Jackie, and son Justin.
