Smith Jr., Vernon E. 53 born and raised in Egg Harbor Township, NJ but resided in Vineland, NJ entered into heavenly rest on Saturday July 16, 2022. Vernon graduated from Egg Harbor Township High School and attended Stockton University. He also served in the US Airforce. Vernon was a devoted and hard working truck driver for many companies over the years most recent DE CALI Transport. If he wasn't doing that he was on his Harley. Vernon was predeceased by his parents Vernon and Eretha Smith and Brother Lee Johnson, Jr. He is survived by his sister Laverne Smith (Oscar), three nephews William Johnson, Jr., William and Marshal Harris; two step children, Jada and Lou Edwards and a host of family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 12 PM on Saturday July 30, 2022 at the All Wars Memorial Building 1510 Adriatic Avenue Atlantic City, NJ 08401.
