Putney, Thomas James, Sr. 71, of Somers Point, passed away on May 16, 2019 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical in Atlantic City, NJ following injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash. He was born in Camden and was an area resident for most of his life. He is a veteran of the United States Navy and a retired plumber and pipefitter of Local Union 322. Dear Family and friends, may you find comfort in knowing that your dear one, Thomas James, is safe in the memory our loving Heavenly Father, Jehovah God (Ps. 83:18), who will remember every detail about Thomas and bring him back in the upcoming Resurrection. Acts 24:15.

So sorry and devastated to hear of Tom's passing. He was an energetic man, full of ambition and had a heart of gold. Ray and I spent time with him in St. Augustine riding our motorcycles. We are sorry we will be unable to attend his services because we will be out of town. Our hearts and prayers go out to the family. "The Putter" will be sorely missed.

May God wrap you in His loving arms to carry you home. Unfortunately the rest of us are left mourning our loss of your voice, laugh and friendship. You meant so much to Ron and I and we were awaiting your visit to spend some quality time together. I will think of you with every Phillies/Eagles game I watch and wait till the end so we could go over every play (no matter what the time). I cherish each call we made and the simple "love you" at the end of it. I can only image what the boys, daughters-in-law, Nicole and all the grandchildren must be going through and pray for their strength at this time. You were love by many!
Till we meet again, Pat and Ron Lobb

Peace be with you Tom. You were a kind and caring person, Putter, and I will miss you. I can, however, take solace in
having the chance to know you and in our friendship over the years. Condolences to your family in this time of sorrow.
