Thomas C. Flanagan Sr. was born in Atlantic City NJ 9/25/1926. He passed away on 10/17/22. He was the Son to the late George R. Flanagan Sr. and Mary (Ireland) Flanagan. Predeceased by his wife, Alice M. (Leister) Flanagan, and son-in-law, Michael Campbell. Survived by daughter, Janet (Flanagan) Campbell, son, Thomas C. Flanagan Jr. and his wife, Lisa Flanagan. Grandchildren; Thomas C. Flanagan, III and wife Thieta Flanagan, Megan Flanagan, John Campbell and wife Brittany, Emily (Campbell) Klecz and husband Ray. Also 5 great-grandchildren. Thomas was a WWII and Korean War Veteran; He served in the Army and Navy and retired from the Navy and the U.S. Postal Service. He often shared stories about setting up the first weather station in Antarctica and his time serving on the NJ Battleship (BB62). Thomas had a passion for baseball and loved to play sports with all the neighborhood kids. Prayer service will be on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the Northfield Baptist church located at 1964 Zion Road Northfield, NJ 08225.
