Obituary for Rudolph P "Rudy" Reynolds
Rudy P. Reynolds, 59, of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2023 following a lengthy illness.
Rudy was born in Millville, NJ to Rudolph R. and Bonnie (nee Hopman) Reynolds. He graduated from Columbia High School in Maplewood, NJ in 1982. He took his love of fishing and the water to a lifelong career as a marine mechanic/electrician at Somers Point Marina and most recently at Dave Wilson Marine in Marmora, NJ.
An avid animal lover, Rudy would never turn away a stray or critter. He was an advocate for anything with feathers, fur or paws. We know he will have a herd greeting him in heaven.
If you were lucky enough to know him, there is no denying that he will be remembered as the kindest, most loving gentle giant. He would lend a hand to anyone, whether he knew them or not.
Preceded in death by his father Rudy R., he leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Susanne Reynolds, his mother Bonnie Reynolds of Fort Pierce, Fl, his brother Christopher (Valerie) of Lebanon, NJ, his uncle Stacy Carter of Millville, NJ, his step-children Dawn Cheeseman (Jim), Shawn Butcher (Liz), and Jake Feinberg (Caroline) all of Egg Harbor Township, NJ. “Wudy” will be missed by his grandkids: Katie, Em, Izzy, Shane, Scarlett, Sawyer, Sebastian, and Zachary. His fur babies, Willow and Sarah, are already missing him and their treats!
