Rose Marie Daddona
October 28, 1960 – November 8, 2022
A beautiful rose has left us. Rose Marie Daddona passed away peacefully on November 8, 2022, from cancer at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Mainland Campus, in Pomona, NJ. She was 62. Born in Somers Point, NJ, she lived most of her life in Pleasantville, NJ, and recently lived in Galloway, NJ. She is predeceased by her father, Frank, mother, Eleanor, and sister, Barbara Phillips. She is survived by her brother, Joseph Eigenmann, and sister, Eleanor Harnish, several nieces and nephews, and her extended family.
Rose loved her family and enjoyed visiting with friends in her neighborhood. She did not know a stranger but was encouraging to all she met. An avid gardener, she was able to transplant snippets and watch them grow. As a talented paint artist, she had an eye for perfection and clarity. She had many other talents including sewing, playing guitar and singing. Being very intelligent, she would advise her friends on what books to read to help them with any physical ailments. Her quick wit and counsel left us with a smile.
Her family wishes to express their appreciation for all her friends who have reached out and encouraged her these past few years. Also, thank you to the compassionate caregivers at AtlantiCare who sweetly comforted her at her home-going to Heaven. She fought a brave fight. Truly she is in a better place. She will be missed by her loved ones and, of course, her fur baby, Rosie. Rose, we will meet you up in Heaven. Wait for us at the celestial gate. We will be looking for you on that day. Blessed Hope!
