DiBona, Ronald Michael, aka "BBQ Ron", age 66, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018 peacefully at Atlantic City Hospital from Hepatitis C and cancer.
Ron was born on July 2, 1951 in Philadelphia, PA to Catherine Glassey and Armanda DiBona. After serving in the Army, Ron became a chef and also worked at several casinos until he became a hot dog vendor until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, was a great sports fan, and also liked gaming in the casinos.
Ron and Joanne Thomson were married on April 7, 2004 in Atlantic City where they still resided. Ron was predeceased by his parents; twin brother Robert; and half brother Michael Carr.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne; his sisters, Cecelia Schultz, Karen Bates (Robert), and Linda (Tony); nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Jeanine DiBona; nephew Robert DiBona (Stephine); and his beloved cat, Misty.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 21st at 11:00am at St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish, 1421 New Road, Northfield. A visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of the mass. A luncheon will follow for family and friends. Burial will be private.
