Obituary for Ronald DeMoulin

Atlantic County Sheriff’s K-9 Detective (Retired) Ronald DeMoulin Sr. of Egg Harbor Township transitioned home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. Affectionately known as Ron, he served proudly with the US Army during the Vietnam War, and dedicated 38 years serving the community with the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department in conjunction with the FBI Tri-State and US Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force divisions. During such tenure Ron received several outstanding recognitions and has been recognized as the most decorated detective to grace the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department. A shining example of Policing, a pillar in the community to protect and serve, a true mentor and friend to many as he stood y’all and proud of his accomplishments.

Ron is survived by his wife of 51 years Patricia Ann (Lively) DeMoulin, Daughters Latonya Patterson (Christopher), Rhonda DeMoulin-Bailey (Bernard), Patrice DeMoulin. Son Ronald W. DeMoulin III (Kim), Sister Patricia Ann DeMoulin and Niece Natasha DeMoulin. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, great nephew and a host of cousins and friends.

Ron was preceded by his son Ronald DeMoulin Jr., his Father Sidney DeMoulin, Mother Helen Tolbert and Brother Sidney DeMoulin Jr.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 9:30-11am with an 11am service at Second Baptist Church, 110 Rev Dr Isaac S Coles Plz, Atlantic City NJ 08401. Burial will be private.
