Tuthill, Richard A. 84, of Egg Harbor Township, NJ went home to Our Lord on March 27, 2021. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and son. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Kathleen (Kilcher) Tuthill, son Richard M. Tuthill and his wife Angela, granddaughters Lily and Joy of MA, son Timothy R. Tuthill of FL and his sister Anna Eble and her husband Tom of FL, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son, Matthew J. Tuthill and his grandson, Matthew R. Tuthill, his brothers Walter R. Tuthill Sr. and George M. Tuthill, and his sister Marie Baker. Richard graduated Atlantic City High School, Class of 1954, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was employed at Chelsea Title Company for over 30 years and several years at Caesar’s Casino. A resident of Northfield for over 30 years, he served one term as a Northfield City Councilman. He was an active community member involved with the Atlantic City Moose Lodge, the Boy Scouts of America and the Cape-Atlantic Marine Corps League. He enjoyed serving in the Marine Toys for Tots program and he was a big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. There will be a graveside service for him at Atlantic City Cemetery Greenwood Section on April 17th at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Marine Toys for Tots program in his name. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Adams Perfect Funeral Home.
