Obituary for Raymond Risley Camp Jr.
Camp, Raymond R. Jr. “Bub”, 69 of Egg Harbor Township passed away on January 17th, 2020. Ray was born in Somers Point, grew up in Linwood and Egg Harbor Township. He married the love of his life, Rebecca in 1968 and raised three children. Ray had a passion for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, working on cars, and was a self employed clammer for much of his younger years. Raymond dedicated 34 years of service to the Northfield School where he worked as a custodian.
Raymond is pre-deceased by his mother Helen; father Raymond Sr.; and beloved wife Rebecca Camp.
Raymond is survived by his loving children, Deanna Allen (Joseph), Raymond III (Tina), and David (Jessica). Poppy also left behind to cherish his memory nine grandchildren: April, Amanda Windish (Kirk), Erin, Melissa, Edward, Raymond IV, Joey, David, and Jennifer along with five great grandchildren.
His siblings Helen, Larry and Thomas along with many nieces and nephews will continue to honor his memory.
A public visitation will be held on January 22, 2020, from 10-11am at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery in Egg Harbor Township.
