Peter Fuhrman, 92, of Margate New Jersey, passed away on October 18, 2022 after living a very full and blessed life. Peter was born on February 7, 1930 to Sadie and Morris Fuhrman in Philadelphia, PA. After attending Germantown High, he went on to graduate from Temple University. He met the love of his life, Claire Salsburg in Atlantic City in 1952, and they remained married for70 years. He turned his love of boats and fishing into his life’s work. He was instrumental in helping build Grady White Boats into a premier recreational boating giant. He was also able to expand this passion into being a longtime member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, teaching countless new boaters how to operate their boats safely. He is survived by his wife, two children and 3 grandchildren.
