Obituary for Patricia Maureen Donaghy (Cullen)
Patricia Maureen Donaghy, 58, passed away on September 12, 2020. She was born in Kearny, NJ and later moved to Manahawkin. She attended St. Stephen’s School, Stafford Elementary School and graduated from Southern Regional High School in 1980. She is predeceased by her parents Luke and Dorothy Cullen, her brother Edward Durkin, brother in-law Angelo Del Buono, brother-in-law Christopher and sister-in-law Ruthanne.
Patty worked at Tom’s Garden World, Egg Harbor, where she developed the love of gardening and decorating for many years. She later worked at Stein’s Food Service Equipment Company in Pleasantville, where she had many dear friends until her retirement.
Always the life of the party, her sense of humor will be missed by many. The most cherished days were those spent with her two beautiful grandchildren. Maddie and Maverick. She loved cooking and taking care of her family. They were her life. Patty loved Christmas and spent many weeks baking hundreds of cookies for the grateful people on her list.
Patty is survived by her husband, Patrick, her daughter Miki, and Michael Guerrero, her siblings, Jimmy and Grace Durkin, Catherine Del Buono, Mark and Peg Reynolds, Colleen and John Drayton, Colleen Donaghy, Larry Donaghy and many dear nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 6-8pm at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road in Northfield, with a memorial service beginning at 8pm.
