Nikesha Sarah Gunter affectionally known to all as “Dolly” (43) passed away unexpectedly on May 18, 2022. “Dolly” was born on January 16, 1979 to the late Janice M. Gunter and Richard White Sr. and was raised by her grandmother Sarah E. Gunter. “Dolly” was a lifelong resident of Pleasantville, NJ and attended the Pleasantville School District.
After several jobs in call centers, “Dolly” was lastly employed at Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City for 15+ years.
“Dolly” was preceded in death by her mother Janice M. Gunter, father Richard White Sr., grandmother Sarah Gunter, brother Richard “Tyree” White and the love of her life, Quan Kelly. She is survived by her two sons, Jahlil “Jay” and Jajuan, sisters Rachelle “Mimi” & Rashaunda, and a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.
A funeral services for “Dolly” will be held at 11am with a visitation from 10- 11AM prior to the service on Thursday May 26, 2022 at the All Wars Memorial Building 1510 Adriatic Avenue Atlantic City, NJ 08401. Interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery Pleasantville, NJ. In honor of the colorful life that “Dolly” lived, the family is requesting all who come to celebrate her life wear pink or purple.
