Obituary for Mary Agnes Curry
Mary A. Curry passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021 after a brief illness.
Mary was a longtime member of St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish (Church of St. Bernadette). She was an active member of Catholic Daughters of America, Sodality of St. Gianna Beretta Molla, Irish Historical Society and the Sorority of Beta Sigma Phi.
Mary worked on the parish bingo and volunteered for many parish fundraisers. Mary also enjoyed her monthly lunches with friends. She was also an Eucharistic Minister of St. Gianna and she took Holy Communion to the residents at Meadowview.
Mary was assistant treasurer at the former Guarantee Bank. She loved to travel and visited many countries.
Mary is survived by her sisters, Ann Henchy (Jack) and Clare Curry; her nieces, Patricia Henchy, Clare Malchiodi (Benvenuto); nephew, John Henchy (Meridith) and several grand nieces and grand nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 9-10:30am at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road in Northfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish, 1421 New Road in Northfield. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Mays Landing.
