Obituary for Mark Charles Leeds

Leeds, Mark C. - 44, of Northfield, NJ, beloved son, father and brother, passed away suddenly on May 18, 2022 after a long battle with drug addiction.

Mark was born and raised in Linwood, NJ. He attended Seaview and Belhaven schools, quickly taking an interest in sports— playing hockey, baseball, football and wrestling. At Mainland Regional High School he excelled in football, earning a varsity letter in his sophomore year. After high school he lived in Rhode Island, before returning to South Jersey to found and run a successful landscaping business.

He loved life and lived it to the fullest, making many friends through the music community— playing the guitar and following the Grateful Dead, among other affiliated live bands. He loved his motorcycle, his golden retrievers, and traveling with friends and family to ski and snowboard.

Of the many joys that filled his life, his absolute favorite was his son Arlo. Being a father was his proudest achievement and greatest blessing.

Mark is predeceased by his grandparents Walter and Laura (née Price) Adams. He is survived by his parents Charles and Nancy (née Adams) Leeds of Linwood, who loved him beyond words and will forever treasure the years they had with him.

He is also survived by his son Arlo Leeds, his brother Michael Leeds of Bargaintown, his niece and nephews Lexy, Ryan and Andrew Leeds of Northfield, his aunt Joan Conover of Egg Harbor Township, and his many cousins and friends who loved him dearly and will cherish his memory.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road in Northfield, with a visitation from 10-11am. Funeral services will be held immediately following at 11am. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery, Zion Road in Egg Harbor Township.
