Bill Wasekanes, Boy Scouts of America
Lee was truly an extraordinary man. The life story you shared had me regretting I never spent more time with him. Your family was so lucky to be able to enjoy Lee every day.
My association with Lee was volunteering at the Shoprite LPGA Classic. Like Lee, I have been with the tournament for a long time, mostly as a one day person. Eventually, I became a chairman, and one of the first things I wanted to do was to introduce myself to Lee. I had watched how he worked with the volunteers and his kindness and caring for his volunteers was so admirable.
I will always cherish the conversations we had and his kind and gentle ways. For me seeing Lee every year was something I anticipated. I would seek him out every day and look forward to our chats
Lee has left an admirable and outstanding legacy and like so many others I will miss his smile, kindness, and caring and I will remember him always.
