Obituary for Kyle John Beattie

Kyle Beattie was born on April 26, 1995 with a charismatic personality that filled the room.
He grew up in Northfield and attended Northfield Community School where he was known
by teachers and classmates as the goofy yet lovable class clown. He enjoyed playing
sports, his favorite of which was football for the Northfield Cardinals where he served as a
team leader, proudly earned ACJFL All-Star honors, and solidified his lifelong friendships.
Kyle continued his football career at Mainland Regional High School where he was an
Honors Student and had an active social life. Things always came easily to Kyle until he lost
his closest friends and teammates in a tragic accident that affected him deeply for the rest
of his days.
After graduating from MRHS in 2013, Kyle went on to Temple University and embraced
living in the City of Brotherly Love. It was there he found his passion for dog rescue. In 2017
he received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and later worked as
Comptroller for the Forza Insurance Group.
Kyle had a gift for making people laugh and warming any situation with his amazing smile.
He enjoyed all types of gambling, the unconditional love of dogs, collecting sneakers, and
eating at Chili’s. He loved watching football, especially his Philadelphia Eagles, and if you
saw him at a game it was usually with his face painted green. His generosity knew no
bounds and he truly relished in giving a great gift or pulling off a fun surprise for his friends
and family. Kyle did everything to excess -- especially reminding those closest to him how
much they were loved.
Kyle struggled privately with addiction for years which eventually took his life. He died
peacefully at home.
Preceded in death by his grandparents George and Dottie Beattie, and Amy Jane Florence
Valasek. Kyle is survived by his parents Amy and George of Northfield, his brother and best
friend Ryan, his sisters Amy-Jane and Grace, sister-in-law Natalia Medina Valadez,
grandparents John Valasek and Helen Brandt of Mays Landing, loving aunts, uncles,
cousins and friends too numerous to name.
The family will have a private interment but invites the community to gather and celebrate
Kyle’s life Sunday, March 13, 2022. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to
