Obituary for Judith Allisson Braun (Glenn)

Judith Allisson “Judy” Glenn Braun, of Mays Landing, beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother,
died Sunday, May 22, at the age of 73.
Judy lived all her life in New Jersey. She grew up in Linwood and graduated from Mainland Regional High School in 1966. She married the love of her life, Bob Braun, on Sept. 6, 1968. They were the first couple to be married in the newly built sanctuary of Central United Methodist Church in Linwood. They had been married nearly 48 years when Bob died in 2016.
Newlyweds Judy and Bob lived in New Brunswick while Bob completed his studies at Rutgers University. During that time, she worked at Johnson & Johnson. After Bob graduated, they moved back to South Jersey. She also lived in Somers Point and Egg Harbor Township. Judy worked at the Prudential, Ocean Home Bank, and Holy Redeemer Home Care.
Judy had a kind, generous heart and was always faithful about sending cards for birthdays and other special occasions. Judy always loved Disney and reading was her favorite hobby. She loved her family and friends and was much loved in return. She especially enjoyed trips with her family, including Punta Cana and Jamaica.
Judy is survived by her daughter and and son-in-law, Kelly and Mike Dannenhauer, of Egg Harbor Township; granddaughter Hailey Dannenhauer, of Egg Harbor Township; a sister, Bette Lee Hermansen of Mays Landing; dear friend, Patricia Matthews; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kevin and Sonya Braun, of Stone Mountain, Ga.; her beloved dog Lady and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Bobby; parents, Jim and Leila Glenn; brother, Jimmy Glenn; and sister, Jamie Giagunto.
Please wear yellow or something Disney to the visitation in honor of Judy.
Visitation will be held on Friday May 27, 2022 from 3:30-5:00 p.m. at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield, NJ Service to follow at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
