Juan Cruz-Ruiz, was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico. He moved to New Jersey in the early 1980s with his wife and 2 children. He worked as a building contractor and mechanic until a motor vehicle accident caused him to be disabled. He did not allow his disability to hold him back as he continued to work as a mechanic. He enjoyed fishing and doing things around the house but mostly enjoyed being around his children and grand children. He was always there to help those who needed it. He is predeceased by his wife Ines and son Juan Carlos (Bejuco), as well as his parents and 3 other siblings. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his children Carmen (NJ), Juan (NJ), Julio (FL), Maria (FL), Aracelis (PR). His grandchildren Gloria, Jason, Raymond, Casey, Alex, Amelia, Marcus, Anna Maria, Juliana, Jean Carlos, Edwin, Hansey and Stephanie. HIs sister Gloria and brother Chame. As well as nieces, nephews, cousins and other family.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2019 at 11am at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Mays Landing.
