Josephine Y. Whoy, 81, from Somers Point, New Jersey passed away on August 8th, 2022. She was most recently employed as a packing manager at Shriver's Salt Water Taffy in Ocean City and James Original Salt Water Taffy in Atlantic City. In her earlier years she was also a devoted cashier at Resorts Casino in Atlantic City. She is survived by her Son Frank A. Whoy (Helen); Grandson Frank A. Whoy (Amy); Grand-Daughter Alicia M. Whoy; and adored by her Great Grand-Children, Finleigh, Addison, and Maverick; Sisters Helen White and Fran McCaffrey; Brothers, Sebastian Canesi (Connie) and Eugene Previti (Elizabeth); and many Nieces and Nephews. She is predeceased by her Son, Michael J. Whoy; Parents, Frank and Nancy Canesi; Sisters, Mary Nauman, Theresa Brady, and Nancy Risley; and Brother, Harry White. Arrangements are entrusted to Adams-Perfect Funeral Homes, Inc. A visitation will be held from 3:00-4:00pm with a service to begin at 4:00pm at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home located at 1650 New Road Northfield NJ 08225.
