Obituary for Joseph A Ricci Sr.
Joseph Anthony Ricci Sr. 66, of Egg Harbor Township NJ, passed away peacefully on July 19th 2022 at Shore Medical Center. He was born in Atlantic City NJ and raised in Pleasantville NJ.
Joseph was a regional supervisor for the McDonald’s corporation for over 30 years. He was a die hard Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, and Sixers fan. Joseph dedicated many years to the youth of Egg Harbor Twp by coaching peewee football and baseball. He left a lasting impression on those he coached throughout the years. His passion and joy for playing cards, crabbing and fishing always made him smile. To know him was to love him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Deborah Ricci; his loving children Joseph A. Ricci Jr (Melissa) of Egg Harbor City NJ, Jennifer Ricci of Egg Harbor Twp., and Michelle Wheeler (Sean) of Mays Landing NJ; Grandchildren, Adrianna and Sean Jr. Wheeler and Spencer Ricci; Brothers, Michelangelo Ricci III (Rodolfo), James Ricci (Nancy), and William Ricci (Linda); Sisters, Roseann Canale (Gary) and Marguerite Guzzetti. Sister in laws, Susan Zane and Patricia Schmidt (Louis). Brother in law, Roberto Garcia. He was also loved by many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents Michelangelo and Rosemary Ricci; brother Dominic Ricci; sister Theresa Garcia.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 26th from 9am-11am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at the Parish of Saint Vincent de Paul, 5021 Harding Hwy. Mays Landing NJ 08330. Burial for will be at Holy Cross Cemetery Mays Landing.
