Obituary for Joseph Richard "Rick" Halpin Jr.
Joseph "Rick" Halpin, 70, of Somers Point, passed away at home on November 9, 2022 after a long battle with dementia. Rick taught second grade at Jordan Road School in Somers Point for 35 years.
Rick is predeceased by his parents, Joseph Richard Halpin and Peg Faas Halpin. He is survived by his loving wife, LuAnn; his son, Thomas Halpin (Jennifer); grandsons, Aiden and Bryce Halpin; sisters, Beth Tiedeken, Barbara (Doug) Fellman and Meg (Ed) Connelly; and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to his caretakers, Tom Ziegler and DeeDee from Bayada.
Private services were arranged and held by Adams-Perfect Funeral Home. Thank you to the many family members and friends in keeping us in your prayers.
