Condolence: I knew Jack from Harrah's back in the early 90's. His office was located not far from the public relations office, where I worked with Alyce Parker.

When I started, Jack would often do a double-take -- he said Alyce and I looked like sisters. We would often talk about the Philadelphia area (I grew up in Delaware County) and he was always available for whatever we needed.

Such a kind man. My sincere condolences on his passing.

Condolence: Vikki, my sincere condolences to you. Jack was a wonderful colleague of mine at Harrah's Resorts. For some years the public relations office was located next to security and Jack always greeted myself and my staff when we popped in for morning coffee. Jack was so helpful to me when I need security assistance for the fun and goofy stunts we created for pr. Just to name two and hope they make you smile...we had a local Galloway waitress win $10m on a five cent slot machine and our NJ pr agency arranged for a live tv remote for the Ellen DeGeneres Show. So live we went from the winning slot machine on national tv. Jack and his staff handled the tv crew needs and most important the crowd control. What a day that was. Lastly, when we opened the McCormick and Schmidt Fish restaurant the pr stunt was to have the chef bring in a huge fish through the front doors passing it along the way so employees, members of the press and casino guests could "kiss" it. Jack just said "Alyce, whatever you need." Jack and his boss Walt Ertle made the event run smoothly. These may be silly things to say, but I wanted you to know he was respected by a colleague.
