Obituary for Joan M Mason
Joan M. Mason passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 after a brief illness. Joan was born on April 16, 1937 in Philadelphia, Pa.
She moved to the “Shore” with her children in 1976. She began working as a secretary for the General Manager of Best Western Hotel on Indiana and Pacific Aves until 1984.
Joan then began a long and beloved career as a Front Desk Receptionist at the Claridge Hotel and Casino. She worked there until 2004 when she retired to stay home and help care for her grandchildren. She was an avid reader and loved to crotchet and needlepoint
She is survived by her son, Howard Mason Jr., her daughter Patricia Marin (Victor), Her granddaughter Malia Mason, her grandsons James Andujar, Jonah Mason, Victor Marin Jr, Nicolas Marin, and her great-grandson, Julian Andujar, along with many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be on Friday May 28th from 10 AM to 11 AM at Adams Perfect Funeral Home located at 1650 New Rd. in Northfield. There will be a mass at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
