Obituary for Jennifer Marie Nickles (Casey)

Jennifer Nickles, free-spirited, vivacious, and adventurous, has departed this world for the next journey in her life. On the 29th of April 2022, she passed on from complications with brain cancer at the age of 63. She is survived by her two daughters Jessica and Jennifer Wardencki. She is further survived by her mother Marjorie Casey and her many siblings - Susan Abell, Joe Casey, Patrick Casey, Pamela Francis, Tim Casey, Betsy Fox, Dan Casey, and Ann DeGennaro. Further, Jennifer was the widow of Fred Nickles.

Jennifer loved to soak in the joys of life. She always sought to have fun, whether it be with snowmobiling, golf, or riding bikes - most especially her favorite, the Harley kind. Where she went, new friends were sure to follow - her lively, humorous, and kind personality attracting those that she would meet. Jennifer’s love for her daughters was a warmth that was felt by many.

Though she endured the challenges of a brain tumor, Jennifer was always herself. Never did she lose her sense of humor or sass, whether it be making jokes, teasing, or pranking those taking care of her. She knew how to keep the mood light, easing those around her.

Traveling was a passion of hers and upon retiring from her long-time job within the Atlantic City public school system as the manager of transportation, she sought to travel the country. She moved herself into her truck, trailer and spent her days riding her motorcycle. Jennifer then lived her life wherever it took her, seeing new places, experiencing that which was offered to her, and leaving a wake of fun behind her.

The road was her call and ride it she did - sun on her skin, a grin on her face, and the wind at her back.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home with Pastor James McCartney officiating.
