Bacsenko, Jennifer Lynne (nee Hall), 42 of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully on Monday, October 15th at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia, PA with her mom and dad by her side.

Jennifer was born in Atlantic City, NJ on March 18, 1976. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Betty Hansen; her paternal grandparents, Helen and Raymond Hall; and her uncle, Rick Hansen. She is survived by her mother, Linda Hansen and her fiance, Murray Blum (whom she fondly referred to as "my stepdad") of Egg Harbor Township; her father, Richard Hall of Egg Harbor Township; her son, Rylan Bacsenko of Ventnor; her maternal grandfather Raymond Hansen and his wife, Dottie Hansen of Egg Harbor Township; and her favorite "cuz", Toni Rosas of Pomona (who, along with her fiance, Gary Suhr, could always make her laugh). She is also survived by various aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jennifer attended the Egg Harbor Township school system and was employed at various nursing homes as a CNA in New Jersey and Florida. She also became certified as a pharmacy technician, where she was employed at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point.

Her favorite memories of life include her time spent living in Florida, where she made many friends; her cross country trip riding on the back of a Harley and camping out; learning to ski as a child; boating and camping with her parents; and just walking the boardwalk for miles, loving the shore.

While Jen struggled with the disease of addiction as an adult and lived her remaining two years as a quadriplegic in a wheelchair, she still held onto life with a gift of sarcastic humor and wit, always looking for a lighthearted spin to put on a tragic situation. Her dad, son, and especially her mom will miss her smile, her humor and that sarcastic wit that could always make them laugh. And her mom, in particular, will miss the nightly one hour phone calls to discuss her day, whether good or bad. Both parents believe that now, she is finally free of pain, no longer tethered to that wheelchair, and walking with both of her grandmoms. Happy and free at last.

Services were private.

A small gathering of family and friends for a celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
