Giana Castorani, 31, from Egg Harbor Township died unexpectedly on May11, 2021.
She is survived by her parents, Janet and Robert, brothers Robert and Alexander, cousin Jessica Ayala, goddaughter Charlotte Fike, and loving aunts, uncles and friends.
Giana was born on July 14th, 1989 to Robert and Janet Castorani. From that day forward the world was a better place. She exuded kindness, and her gentle spirit touched us all. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Simmons College and received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Westchester University in Pennsylvania. Giana graduated Sigma Cum Laude with a perfect 4.0.
For the past seven years, she fiercely devoted herself to SPIN, a social service organization in Philadelphia dedicated to the education and well being of severely impacted children struggling with Autism. This was her passion! The zeal that consumed her thoughts in an effort to make their world, and ours, a better place.
Giana had tremendous empathy and compassion for all living things, large or small. Her life has made an immeasurable impact on so many lives - some that we will never know. She will never be forgotten.
