Condolences

Condolence From: Thomas Ford
Condolence: Gerry was a man's man. I miss Gerry and will always remember him. When I met Gerry, through conversation I found he was a friend of my mothers cousin, years before I was born. Gerry was a staple of Southwest Philly and one of its colorful characters. Gerry told me many stories of his life and they were very interesting, he liked me and trusted me, and I the same with him. He loved jokes and I could always have a laugh with him when I visited, I will miss that but I also feel good when I think about those times. I think of Gerry often, we both worked in the same trade and that made it easy to connect with him, my son whose grandparents were deceased when he was born, made the statement that now he knows how it feels to lose a grandparent on learning of Gerry's death. Rest in peace my friend.
