Ethel Mae Hewitt (nee Draper Conover), 89, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021.

Ethel was born and raised in Wildwood, New Jersey. She was a longtime resident of South Jersey and moved to Ocala, Florida. Twenty years later, in August 2018, Ethel moved back to New Jersey, residing at Spring Village Assisted Living Community in Galloway, New Jersey. Ethel had a career in Banking. She enjoyed the boardwalk, beach, ocean, traveling and playing bingo with her friends.

Ethel is survived by her two sisters, Betty Jane Klott and Ann Marie Conaway; her brother, Lawrence Laricks (Mary Ann); sons, Daniel R. Convover, Sr. and George L. Conover (Mary Ann); grandchildren, Carol Ann Conover, Kristy Lee Conover, Daniel Conover, Jr., Theresa Lamond (Dennis), George Conover, Jr. (Eileen); and nine great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her dearly loved cat, Kitty-Puss.

Ethel was a devout Christian and attended Chelsea Baptist Church in Atlantic City, NJ and Trinity Baptist Church in Ocala, Florida.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 10-11am with a service beginning at 11am at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road in Northfield. Masks and social distancing are enforced. Interment will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
