Mellon, Edward B. Sr. 79, of Northfield, passed away at home on Thursday, January 12, 2023. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, and after graduating high school joined the U.S. Army as a medical corpsman. He spent most of his life and career in South Jersey. Edward was the director of Cardio-Pulmonary Services at Shore Medical Center. He was a member of Nor/Lin Kiwanis and sponsor of MRHS Keyclub. He enjoyed all of Northfield including their sports teams and was a member of MRHS Sports Boosters. He is survived by his loving wife Heather and was able to bear witness to his son, Edward Jr. propose to Susie Shaw. Ed has three sisters; Pat Fischer, Mary Mezger, and Kathy Machione, and one brother; James. In memory of Edward, donations can be made to the charity of your choice. Services will be private and a service of remembrance will be held at a future date.
