Obituary for David Michael Friel MD
David Michael Friel, 68, of Egg Harbor Twp., passed away on July 15, 2022. He was born on September 7, 1953 in Rahway, NJ.
David was a psychiatrist having graduated from the Medical College of Pennsylvania where he earned his medical degree. He opened up a practice in Bridgeton, NJ where David worked for 20 years before working with AtlantiCare-Mainland Division in Galloway, NJ. David loved his chocolate labradoodles Jax and Olie. One of his favorite things to do was enjoying his backyard where he spent a lot of time with his spouse of 38 years, Joseph Santoro.
David is predeceased by his parents Raymond and Dorothea Friel.
Surviving is David's beloved spouse Joseph Santoro; sisters Alison Friel (Samuel Pure), Laurie Friel (Dave); brother John Friel (Susan); a niece Katie Friel; nephew Thomas Friel; friends Maureen Hogan, Marion Gosney, and too many to list.
Friends and Family are invited to the Atlantic City Country Club located at 1 Leo Fraser Drive Northfield, NJ 08225 on September 7th from 4-8pm. There will be food available as well as a time to share stories about David's life between the hours of 6-7:30pm.
