Dale Alan Robinson, 60 of Egg Harbor Twp., passed away suddenly on Friday, October 12th near his home.

Dale was born on July 6, 1958 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Nancy Friedrich-Robinson and the late David Robinson. As a graduate of Mainland High School in 1976, Dale jumped between working with his father and brothers in multiple businesses Pennsylvania,including a donut shop and auto glass shop between 1982 and 1986. Dale took permanent residence in Egg Harbor Township in 1988, where he would meet his future wife of nearly 30yrs, Terri Eberding. As a “Day-One” employee of Trump Taj Mahal, Dale was one of Atlantic City’s most-skilled slot technicians. After Taj Mahal closed, he worked briefly at Tropicana Casino, and then he rejoined his beloved Taj Mahal team at Ocean Resort when it opened in 2018.

Dale was always referred to by his co-workers and friends as a gentle giant. A man with a soft voice, but a laugh that could fill a room who would call his beloved wife every single day on his lunch break. Dale loved nothing more than to just be busy, and if that meant doing things for others to stay busy, he would jump at the chance before being asked.

As a family man, he was a pillar. A keystone that held up those around him, never once complaining about the weight. Through countless hardships he remained stalwart and pushed on, carrying everyone with him that couldn’t do it themselves. He was an avid war memorabilia collector and “tinkerer”, his family of 30 yrs never seeing a time when he wasn’t building a new machine or working on one of his cars. He was a caring, selfless, compassionate and dedicated husband and father.

Dale is survived by his wife Terri C. Robinson, 57; daughter, Lisa, 26: step-son, Paul, 35; all of Egg Harbor Township. He is also survived by his step-children, Christine Brown of Berlin, NJ and Alan Brown of EHT, both 39. Dale is also survived by his mother, Nancy Friedrich-Robinson, 81 of Jensen Beach, Fl; and his brothers, Mark, 56 of Stuart, FL and Glen, 58 of Marmora, NJ.

Services for Dale will be held on Wednesday, October 17th at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield, at 7pm. a visitation will be held from 5pm until the time of the service. A reception will be determined and announced at the services.

Dale’s family wishes to send out the most heartfelt gratitude to his teams at Taj Mahal, Tropicana, and Ocean Resort for nearly three decades of support, friendship, and camaraderie as it gave him added strength through our family’s trials and tribulations.
