Collins Micheaux (Pop) was born 9/11/1942 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Georgia Lee Bonds and Leroy Micheaux. Collins resided in San Antonio until he moved to Atlantic City, NJ where he met and married his beloved wife, Lena Micheaux. Later they moved to Pleasantville, NJ, raised their three sons and together they owned C & L Janitorial, which Collins owned and operated until July 2019.
Collins loved Court TV, Westerns, and his DoWop music. He was an extremely hard & dedicated worker, an excellent cook, and devoted and faithful friend to many. If you needed anything from Pop, he was always there! His heart was pure... Just a very selfless man. Pop prided himself on taking care of his family, keeping a beautiful garden, dressing in sharp suits and smelling good with his Paul Sebastian or Stetson cologne. He also made the best steaks & chili which reminded him of his hometown of Texas.
Collins was predeceased by his late wife, Lena Micheaux, brothers, Wilburn, Coleman and sisters, Irma Jean and Estrella "T'Birda". He is survived by sons, Collins (Qua), Darrian (Noon) and De'Smond & fiancé, Sincera Gray. Grandchildren, Desiree, Mikhail, Isaac, Gabrielle, Lena, De'Aryana and Je'Siara. God daughter & husbsnd, Tina & Marvin Bell.
