Obituary for Christine Mae DeChristopher
Christine Mae (Ireland) De Christopher, 49, of Egg Harbor Township, passed away on January 24, 2023. She was born and lived all her life in Egg Harbor Township. Christine worked for Dr. Jodi S. Abramowitz, DO as a secretary in Linwood for over 20 years.
She was predeceased by her mother Wilma Ireland. Christine is survived by her husband of 29 years, Anthony De Christopher Jr.; her sons, Sean and Nicholas De Christopher; her father Robert Ireland, brother Thomas Ireland, and beloved dog Harley. Also, her sister in-laws and brother in-law, nieces and nephews; and many friends and relations that meant the world to her.
Christine “Chrissy” was an incredibly caring wife and loving mother who did everything for her family. She loved them with all her heart and was so proud of all their accomplishments in school and their love of sports. When she walked into a room her laugh would echo and be filled with happiness and life. She was very strong, outgoing, funny, and selfless. She enjoyed supporting her children at sporting events, cooking, summertime barbeques, traveling with her family, the beach, going out, dancing, playing games, and more than anything in the world being surrounded by family and friends and having a good time creating memories.
Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm on Monday, January 30, 2023, at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Rd, in Northfield. A service will begin at 12pm. Burial to follow at Zion Cemetery in Egg Harbor Twp. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Lupus Research Alliance, online at https://www.lupusresearch.org.
