Obituary for Charles Solomon Brahmi

Charles Solomon Brahmi, 70, of Ventnor, passed away in the early morning of Thursday April 20th, 2023 after his long and difficult battle with lung cancer.

Charles was born on October 8, 1952 to his parents Alfred Brahmi and Anna Elofer in Casablanca, Morocco. He moved to Montreal, Quebec at the age of 6 where he would spend his adolescent years before making his way to the United States once he was 17.

Charles found success in a career in retail in his early years in the United States. His business would eventually take him to Atlantic City where he met Elia DeLuca (Debbie). They would get married in 1984 and go on to have 3 beautiful children Esther, Hannah, and Luke.

Charles and Debbie had continued success in retail with their “Charlie’s Clothing” stores across the AC Boardwalk. Charles’ other love was Poker, which he excelled at and turned into a career for many years having great success including a World Series of Poker bracelet he won in 1999. He was truly a legend and as hard working as they come.

Charles was predeceased by his parents, Alfred Brahmi and Anna Elofer. He is survived by his wife, Elia Debra Brahmi, children, Esther Brahmi, Hannah Brahmi, and Luke Brahmi, and siblings Chantal Brahmi (Thomas Cadieux), and Raymond Brahmi.

Visitation will be held at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home of Northfield on Sunday April 23rd from 10am-12pm with a brief service to follow.
