Obituary for Chad J Sabott

Chad Sabott. 49. Loving, family man, supportive, fighter, adventurous, energetic, athletic, creative, outspoken, musically inclined, competitive, and beyond special. Those are just a few words to describe the Man We are Grieving and the Man we will never forget.
Chad was born in Atlantic City March 3, 1973 and has been a lover of the shore and the beach since. Chad enjoyed living at the beach throughout his childhood and always loved sharing stories of his summers with friends and families. Some of Chads best days growing up were on the beach, hitting the waves with friends.
Chad welcomed his first Son Alex and from that moment on he was DAD and the best one at that. He was a young father but took the role with seriousness always having Alex’s best interest. Chad loved life. Chad involved Alex in everything he did and was over the moon when Alex took on Chad’s love of Star Wars. Going to the toy store was always an adventure as we would be looking for Star Wars Toys for Alex, but deep down it was for him too.
Angela was his baby girl (Finfy), the most like him personality wise. Just like her Father, she will defend her family til the end. Chad so enjoyed watching Angela play softball and cheer. Angela would drive Chad nuts with all her acrobatic stunts and cheering moves no matter where we went, walking thru DisneyWorld was always fun watching Angela cheer around others and having Chad look at her like she was crazy but he so enjoyed her creative moves.
Troy has taken on his athletic and creative abilities. Like his Dad, Troy plays baseball, hockey and surfs; Troy loved playing guitar with his Dad and they shared the love of fast cars. Troy was thrilled that one of the last things he and his Dad did together was purchase a 1994 Corvette C4 that Chad was able to help him pick out and drive home.
Most People that know Chad know he was the most active Father and LOVED being a Dad! Chad always had the camera but never just took pics of his kids, he included everyones because you never knew when that perfect play would be made or the first home run would be hit and Chad wanted to capture it for them. Chad was kind and looked out for everyone. He shared in everyone’s excitement.
Chad and Michele had a love like no other. They complimented each other with their differences but always knew that they had each others back and could conquer the world together. Chad and Michele loved being together whether out on the boat, going to concerts, enjoying a dinner out, and most importantly watching the kids do what they love and seeing the joy and excitement in their eyes. Chad Loved Disney with his Family. Though he may say otherwise (we know Chad) He LOVED it! We would run to space mountain for our Fast Passes, and of course give me a hard time for all the rides I was too scared to do but he somehow got me on them anyway…. Because I knew I was safe with Chad.
Chad was one of a kind. He had no filter and you either loved it or hated it but most people Loved it. Chad was real. He told it like it was, he didn’t hold back but he was genuine. You knew what you were getting and in Chad, you were getting the best!
