Obituary for Catherine Ruth Draper (Wolcott)
Catherine Draper, 75 of Pleasantville passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday May 1, 2022. Cathy was predeceased by her husband Charles, mother Kay, father Richard and brother Richard. She is survived by her two children, son Justin (Agata) and daughter Sara (Greg) and her three grandchildren whom she loved more than anything, Dylan, Karina and Mila.
Cathy was an avid member of the St. Joseph's Parrish in Somers Point, NJ and would volunteer to cook dinner for the priests once a month. She was very involved in all that her children did growing up including roller skating, crew, and countless other sports. She was her children and grand children's biggest supporter.
Cathy worked as a cocktail waitress at the Atlantic Club for 34 years and she made life long friends doing what she loved, walking, talking and making money. She will be remembered for her quick wit, contagious laughter and smile, and her ability to forget something meer seconds after hearing it. She always said, "You never have to worry about me repeating something, I already forgot it as you were telling me, that is if I even heard you in the first place."
Cathy will be dearly missed by her family and friends and we invite you to come celebrate her life at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 11th, 2022 from 2pm-4pm and join us at Josie Kelly's Public House in Somers Point following the service. There will be food and a cash bar available.
