Obituary for Carmen V Morina
On Tuesday, December 29, 2020, Carmen V Morina, loving husband, brother and uncle, passed away at
age 80.
Carmen was born January 14, 1940 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Pietro and Rose (Puleio) Morina. He
was an officer with the Linwood Police Department and then a Detective-Sergeant with the Egg Harbor
Township Police Department. He retired after 25 years. On April 1, 2000, he married Esther A Woodruff.
Carmen loved to bowl, watch movies and game shows. He was known for his wit, sense of humor, love of
family and kind compassionate heart.
Carmen was preceded in death by his father, Pietro, and his mother, Rose. He is survived by his wife,
Esther, his brother Anthony, his sister Anna, his sister-in-law Elisabeth Larcombe, several nieces,
nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 at the Holy Cross
Cemetery on Route 40, Mays Landing, New Jersey at 12:00pm.
