Obituary for Antonios G Tsoplakis

Antonios (Tony) G. Tsoplakis, 73, of Egg Harbor Township passed away on Monday, May 23rd, 2022.
Tony was born July 1st 1948 in the beautiful village of Skoutaros, located on the island of Lesvos, Greece. He immigrated to the United States in the 70s. Tony started his own contracting business” Tony’s Painting and Sandblasting” which he ran multiple decades until he retired in 2008. Before he immigrated to the United States, Tony was a merchant marine on many industrial ships and had the opportunity to visit countries such as Japan, China, Indonesia, France, Panama, and more.
Tony had a love for gardening. Not a summer would go by without him growing a fruit and vegetable garden. Tony loved to distribute his fruits and vegetables to family and friends. Tony enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Tony had a great sense of humor and a vibrant personality.
Tony is predeceased by his father George Tsoplakis, his mother Niki Tsoplakis, and his brother Efstratios Tsoplakis. Tony is survived by his daughter Christina Tsoplakis (John Karanikolas), his sisters Maria Kalaitzi and Eleni Skoutarioti, his sister-in-law Panagiota Tsoplakis, his nephews George (Dione) Tsoplakis and Spiro Tsoplakis, and his niece Athena (Taso) Konidaris. Tony is also survived by many other family members in Greece and the United States.
