Obituary for Anna Ragnoli (Ragnoli)

Ragnoli, Anna – 91, Northfield, passed away on Christmas Day. Born in Philadelphia, Anna and her family moved to Atlantic City. Anna graduated from the Texas Avenue Vocational School in 1947, majoring in Business. As Senior Class President, Anna gave an eloquent commencement speech addressing a “constructive and progressive’ future of education after the war. Anna was awarded the Kiwanian medal for the senior who had given the most to the school. She used her education to work for, and eventually retire from, the NJ State Police Department. Anna's boundless generosity was renown by all who encountered her. Forever curious, Anna kept up with current events and searched for understanding of historical events and the wonders of nature. Her love of music ranged from opera to the Bee Gees. Anna cared for feral cats and supported several wildlife organizations. Though her neighbors will not miss her ‘caring’ for seagulls, they will miss her presence in the lobby and halls of the condo. Anna was predeceased by her beloved parents Alfonso and Maria Ragnoli and her son, Stephen White. Surviving are her brother, Alfonso Jr., grandchildren Stephen and Shelley White, niece Linda Rossi, nephew Mark Ragnoli and cousins Carmen and Lewis Candelori. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 4, 2021 at 11am in St. Michael’s RC Church, Atlantic City. Burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.
